Help:Fanworks

Many creators mentioned in The Evection Project have large communities of fans who have made excellent fanworks. We don't want to feature fanworks that the original creators don't want to exist—this would both disrespect the creators' preferences and paint a target on fans' backs—but there are many fanworks which do fall within the creator's guidelines. Those fanworks can be listed on The Evection Project.

If you want to create a Fanworks page for a creator, start by placing a {{FanworksBanner}} at the top of that creator's page, or just below the Status banner if there is one at the top. That will look like this, with the creator's name replacing the second "Fanworks":

Find fanworks inspired by Fanworks.

When you click on the red link in the new banner on the creator's page, it will take you to a new page called Fanworks:Creator's_Name. On this page, you can make a list linking to notable fanworks inspired by the creator, organized by type of fanwork—fanfiction, fangames, etc. At the top of that page, you should put a {{CreatorBanner}}, which will provide a link back to the creator's page, like so:

And that's all! But please, if you're not sure whether a fanwork would be disapproved of by the original creator or not, err on the side of not including it.
